LinQuest is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. An active TS/SCI is required for this position.

The Contracts Manager will administer contracts of varying complexity and types through the full product lifecycle including contract formation, execution and closeout.

**This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.**

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership guidance on contract requirements including FAR & DFARS terms.
  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Prepares reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
  • Monitor contract performance, prepare modifications, and determine the necessary course of action to resolve issues impacting contract performance.
  • Supervisory tasks.
  • General contract administration support including negotiating terms and conditions, closeouts, proposal review and preparations, day to day contract administration tasks.
  • Update contract related information in contract management system and other databases.
  • Support data gathering and internal and external audit reviews of various contract records.
  • Review and approve contractual documents for protection of the company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements and adherence to company policies.
  • Regular and proactive interface and effective collaboration is required with program, technical and operations organizations in order to provide guidance and direction based upon the requirements of the contracts.
  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FAR and DFARS changes and communicate impact to current and existing contracts.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Assist in training newly assigned contracts staff including supporting the creation of training aides
  • Oversee work assignments and evaluate performance of subordinates.
  • Provide audit support and provide advice to senior management regarding policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, law, contract management, accounting, supply management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in U.S. Government (FAR/DFARS) Contracting.
  • Ability to effectively work with the management of other organizations (program management, subcontracts, pricing, business management, and supply chain management) as well as representatives of Government agencies.
  • Prior experience with various contract types such as IDIQs, Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, etc.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend business deals, provide strategic input, and effectively tailor the agreements to better meet company objectives.
  • Experienced leader.
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills.
  • Experience with responding to DCMA and DCAA audit inquiries.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with GSA Schedules.
  • Experience in drafting terms and conditions.
  • NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM) or similar.

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $134,692 - $169,829 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
