NEW EMPLOYEES HIRED INTO THIS POSITION ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A $10,000 HIRING BONUS.
There are two regular full-time positions to provide nursing services for the Community Support Services program. The individuals in these positions may provide both general and special nursing services for individuals with serious mental illness emphasizing medication administration, monitoring, medication skills training, medical case management, illness prevention, working with pharmacies, setting up accounts for free medication services, giving injections, and tracking, documenting, and coordinating with physicians as needed. Duties and responsibilities of this position will primarily be carried out in the community. One of these positions will involve work with evidence-based models including Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA) http://easacommunity.org/ and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) .

Salary: $6,078.94 - $7,72.41/month (DOE)

The Qualifications:
The position requires an unencumbered RN license and a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse. Must have a National Provider Number (NPI) number or be able to get one upon employment. A valid license to drive in Oregon and a good driving record are also required. Preference may be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree, public health and/or behavioral health experience, and/or Spanish language skills. Will be subject to successful completion of a background check.

The Candidate:
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work effectively alone or in a team environment, interacting with co-workers and the public in a courteous, professional manner. The ability to work with a multi-cultural clientele is required. Must have excellent customer service skills and be proficient in computer use including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
