POSITION SUMMARY:
Talent Acquisition Specialist III plays a critical role in consulting, sourcing and recruiting of senior level and hard to fill positions. This role will be a critical right hand resource to the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager. As such, this role will strategically navigate complex, niche positions by working with leaders and stakeholders to develop creative staffing strategies to develop a strong pipeline of candidates. This role demonstrates a "talent hunter" mentality in sourcing, engaging, and maintaining diverse pipelines thru effective recruitment strategies that reflect an expert understanding of the business and market. This position performs full lifecycle recruiting for select positions and provides the highest level of staffing services while develop hiring manager capabilities, and providing talent market data insights. A focus on compliance, communication, creativity, systems thinking, and personal organization is required. Additionally, will participate in projects focused on aligning learning and development solutions with business priorities.

JOB SCOPE:
The incumbent operates under broad guidelines, but is expected to use creativity and innovation to accomplish the company's compliance, talent acquisition and development objectives. Has the ability to modify existing protocols and procedures. Failure to recognize problem areas or issues could result in significant penalties for the organization.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Act as a mentor to all junior Talent Acquisition and Development resources. Potential to be a team lead depending on experience.INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist III coordinates his/her efforts with managers, supervisors, and others on the Human Resource staff. Internal to the company this position interacts and communicates with all levels of management/supervision. External interactions occur with industry contacts, community networks, government representatives and educational contacts.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalency Certificate) required.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication or Human Resources or other closely related field preferred or an additional 4 years of experience in Human Resources field.
Minimum four (4) years of experience in full lifecycle talent acquisition required for degreed candidates or four (4) years of full lifecycle talent acquisition plus an additional 4 years in talent acquisition or other HR field, preferably in the marine, construction or heavy industrial manufacturing industries.
Experience establishing and/or maintaining training and development programs a plus.
Demonstrated service orientation and ability to successfully implement programs at the local level
ATS Experience - Jobvite preferred
General human resources experience preferred
Hybrid Role with 3-5 days a month spent on-site

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
The role requires physical and mental stamina appropriate to the performance of assigned duties. The following represent illustrations of requirements- sitting or standing for extended periods of time; primarily in an office setting but at times the work requires going into a heavy industrial setting. Mental ability to evaluate, assess and manage complex problems and policy related matters, at times in emotionally charged situations. He/she may be required to work nights or weekends and travel to various operational locations. Work involves walking, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reaching with hands and arms. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to push, pull, lift and/or carry boxes or containers. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
