Install, repair, test and/or perform maintenance - along with mounting all types of wireless communications equipment in the field (Security Cameras & Cables) or shop according to manufacturer and company guidelines. Maintain positive customer relations. Must have a current Oregon Low Voltage License.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Perform installations of wireless communications equipment, security cameras and install solid conductor low voltage cable, single mode fiber optical cable and multi-mode fiber optical cable.
- Replace, service, and perform new wiring installs, UPS battery tests, network cable runs.
- Dress and route cable into telecoms closets, modular furniture & other work area outlets.
- Experience pulling cable / wire through conduit in new construction facilities / existing older commercial buildings, including attics and confined spaces
- May climb towers and install cable and antenna consistent with project requirements and according to R56 installation and safety standards. May also deconstruct installation sites as required.
- Configuration/ Basic understanding of small networks: Routers, Hubs, and Networks.
