Position Summary:
Works within the Quality continuation engineering team to collaborate with various cross functional groups to facilitate manufacturing of high-quality optical products for the Sig Sauer Electro Optics Division. The candidate must be able to interact constructively with manufacturing, engineering, product management and colleagues throughout the company to accomplish the tasks below.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Performs evaluation of product lines in relation to compliance to requirements. Handles root cause and corrective action for non-compliant products.
* Leads team in performing cost down activities for products released to production
* Functions as interface for design engineering and manufacturing to help resolve interpretation issues during design, NPI and production.
* Supports root cause and corrective action activities on returned product.
* Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
* Minimum 4-year technical degree combine with a minimum of 8 years' experience in quality engineering related commercial applications.
* Familiarity with electrical assemblies and PCBA manufacturing.
* Experience with aerospace, medical or automotive applications is a plus.
* Knowledge with respect to application of GD&T
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience in statistical methods such as design of experiment, ANOVA, Cpk analysis, SPC and reliability studies.
* Experience with Minitab or similar statistical software, Microsoft Office 365 Software.
* Ability to write reports and procedures, and effectively present information to team members.

Working Conditions:
*Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
*Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
