SEASONAL QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Knife River has an immediate opening for a Seasonal Quality Control Technician in Seaside, Oregon.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Sample and test aggregate in accordance with specifications and standards.
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
- Other duties assigned as needed.

Compensation:
22.00/hr
Minimum Qualifications:
- Quality Control experience preferred, but not required. Training will be provided
- Good math, record keeping and problem-solving ability
- Computer spreadsheet experience preferred
- Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary
- Must be able to lift material samples of 75 lbs. approx. 10 to 15 times per day and on occasion more depending on duties required
- Ability to work overtime
- Strong communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen
- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers
