JOB DESCRIPTION

The Team Lead ensures processes are delivered with excellent customer service through credit risk analysis, accounts receivable cash collection, dispute management execution, analysis/ reporting while meeting key daily deliverables and ensuring compliance with LS&Co. policies and key controls.

The role is responsible for:

  • Assist and train the team at the desktop level on SAP and other related Credit/Collection tools.
  • Assess the creditworthiness of potential customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of customer credit profiles to ensure ongoing creditworthiness.
  • Work closely with collections teams to resolve overdue accounts and minimize bad debt losses.
  • Determine appropriate credit limits and terms for new and existing customers based on risk assessment.
  • Support the reconciliation of customer account ledgers ensuring collectability of open items in a timely manner maximizing cash collection, deduction, and dispute resolution.
  • Assist with the execution of SOX controls; monitors controls are properly, consistently executed and provide clear and timely information for 404B Controls, and all audits.
  • Support Manager to establish, maintain, and improve operational processes and relationships, both internal and external.
  • Improve business relationships and develop customer service strategies to drive effective cash collections and deduction/claims management.
  • First point of escalation for customer account or system issues.
  • Escalate to relevant Manager, Finance and Commercial Leads high risk, high value cash allocation issues

Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience related area of Credit/Accounts Receivable.

Knowledge, Skills, &Abilities:

  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to drive for resolution
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team with internal & external partners to meet mutually beneficial goals
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Process and result driven individual.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and Word
  • Strong systems/computer knowledge essential: SAP or ERP order management system, Microsoft Office Suite

he expected starting salary range for this role is $77,300 to $120,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
