Job Description
The Position

HTO Engineering Science &Technology (ES&T) is seeking a project manager to join their engineering team. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing various projects within the business. This person will work with members of ES&T engineering and other individuals in the value streams to deliver projects of various complexity and scope. They will perform assigned tasks and work to achieve company goals and department objectives. They will do all of the above while conforming with cGMP regulations and Genentech standards. The Project Manager will report to the ES&T Engineering Manager.

Day shift work hours are flexible

Position is on-site when needed, work remotely approved by manager

Position is for 6 month duration with possible extensions up to 3 years (based on performance and budget)

Pay Rate=$40/hour (Depends on Experience)

Responsibilities

  • Work with the site PMO, HLT and site leadership to prioritize projects on the site portfolio.
  • Identify, build and socialize resources for projects
  • Complete Capital Funding Requests for projects as required
  • Provide Project Updates to the Project Sponsor and Key Stakeholders
  • Complete Project Intake information for new projects
  • Manage and update the site portfolio for schedule, scope and budget updates using Service Now.
  • Identify and maintain project risk register as required.
  • Work cross functionally with commercial value stream members
  • Complete DAR's as required to support project implementation
  • Work with commercial value streams to coordinate and schedule implementation activities
  • Build Work Breakdown Structures for projects and identify critical path activities.
  • Attend ES&T Engineering weekly SQDEC huddles as required.
  • Update work hours using SAP Fieldglass.
  • Complete GMP Training by required due dates
  • Create planned events as required within Veeva
  • Manage team meetings for projects
  • Capture meeting minutes as required
  • Provide documentation updates as required
  • Insure the project team works safely at all times using pre-work safety briefings
  • Manage external contractors needed to support implementation tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related experience
  • Experience managing projects of various complexity in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Ability to work in a self directed capacity with minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience with MS Project or similar tool to manage projects
