Job Description

Parametrix, a 100-percent employee-owned premier Western engineering, planning, environmental sciences, and construction management consulting firm, is seeking a GIS TECHNICIAN / ANALYST to join our Portland, Oregon office. This position will have flexibility to work remotely and will come into the office for mentorship and project and client collaboration.

We are offering a career opportunity for a team oriented, flexible individual with excellent communication skills to join our dedicated GIS team. The selected candidate will work with a team of GIS professionals to support internal and external clients with GIS projects. Anticipated work will include map production, data editing and management, as well as web map development. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to learn while working on a wide variety of projects including but not limited to transportation and trail plans, asset management development, and renewable energy studies.

This position requires the following skills:

  • Familiarity with ArcPro from ESRI
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Online from ESRI
  • Familiarity with Field Maps from ESRI
  • Interest in map production and web map development

Base salary for this position is in the range of $55,000 -$70,000. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are happy to be transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
