Supervision Statement: | May provide training and orientation to newly assigned personnel and may assign work to student workers. Works under the general direction of the Nursing Assistant Program Director, Dean of Health Professions, Health and Physical Education and the Associate Dean/Director of Nursing. |
Physical Demands/Working Environment: | Nursing Assistant instructors must have the ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and manipulate objects, remain on their feet for extended periods of time, have sufficient strength to lift objects and/or assist students in positioning patients, and possess adequate manual dexterity and coordination to operate equipment such as standard laboratory, safety and office equipment.
