Position Overview: Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for optimizing store operations and fostering a customer-centric environment? Eastern Oregon Rental & Sales is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Store Manager in Baker City, Oregon. As the Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, from monitoring performance to ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct all store operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Investigate and address any accidents or safety violations promptly.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports to monitor store performance and develop improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and General Manager to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Coordinate employee hiring, mediation of disputes, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage employee schedules, training programs, and vacation planning.
  • Communicate store performance metrics to the General Manager regularly.
  • Review inventory levels, expenses, and sales promotions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for store growth and success.
  • Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Represent the branch at management meetings and conduct branch and safety meetings as required.
  • Provide leadership and support to employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of management experience, preferably in construction or equipment sales.
  • Strong background in customer relations and sales.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a company drug screen.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and exemplary attendance record.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Capacity to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
