Manager of Resource Management

Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.000000 | Full Time | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM

Salary is based on qualifications and years of relevant experience. Starting rate is $56.10/hr with a mid-range of $70.12/hr.


Position Summary

The Manager for Resource Management is responsible for assisting the Director of Resource Management in the development, implementation, coordination, management and monitoring of Discharge Planning, Social Work Services, Utilization Review, Appeals/Denials and Emergency Department Case Management, and Nurse Navigators at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Ashland Community Hospital to bridge acute care and the community, including the coordination and management of all staff and activities associated with appropriate utilization of resources.

As a Manager of Resource Management, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Promote and monitor customer-focused services for Discharge Planning, Utilization Review, Social Work Services, Appeals/Denials, Nurse Navigators, and Emergency Department Case Management.
  • Promote a work environment in which employees are motivated to deliver quality services.
  • Support performance improvement processes through active participation in system and departmental projects and by encouraging employee involvement.
  • Maintain an awareness of all regulatory requirements and ensures that they are implemented and updated as mandated and monitored for continued compliance.
  • Utilize formal and informal feedback from internal and external customers to monitor services effectiveness, identify problems with work processes, and ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Thoroughly understand EMR applications for staff training and mentorship.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, or equivalent education and experience is required.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated leadership in utilization/case management within a health care environment, with emphasis on community health resources and program development is required.

Licensure/Certifications

  • RN: Registered Nurse (RN) by the Oregon State Board of Nursing or Allied Health Provider, required upon start.
  • CCM: Certified Case Manager (CCM), preferred.
  • ACM: Accredited Case Manager (ACM), preferred.
