PlayStation Studios Mobile is looking for an experienced software engineer to design and build SDKs for mobile games built with Unity and Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities
  • Design and create SDKs for mobile games built with Unity and Unreal Engine
  • Simplify the developer experience for mobile SDK end users
  • Develop SDK reference implementations to ease developer onboarding
  • Measure and improve SDK security and runtime performance
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to mobile SDK development team
  • Establish pipelines and processes to facilitate the delivery of high-quality, easy-to-use SDKs
  • Influence and contribute to the SDK engineering roadmap
  • Clearly communicate end-to-end system behavior to SDK users and stakeholders
  • Actively track technical innovations, changes, and trends affecting mobile game development and mobile application security
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience developing mobile games, apps or related services
  • Experience as a technical leader in a team setting
  • Expertise in crafting easy-to-use SDKs in multiple languages
  • Expertise in runtime performance optimization
  • Experience building games with Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization flows
  • Strong understanding of network communication models for games
  • Strong understanding of mobile app security threats and mitigation approaches
  • Strong C++ and C# experience
  • B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$167,300$250,900 USD
