Your Role With Us:Pharmacy Interns at Salem Health are provided top-level training to prepare for a career in Pharmacology. Interns earn to provide the best patient experience through assisting the pharmacist and pharmacy team members in accordance with state and federal regulations. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, interns review patient records and orders regarding drug therapy, perform clinical interventions as defined by protocol, and consult with staff members on appropriate medication use.Core Functions:Under pharmacist supervision, the intern reviews and interprets physician orders to assure that the drug, dosage form, and dose is appropriate for the patient age, weight, and co-morbidities.
