Job Summary - What You Will Do?

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer II improves the quality of software releases through automation testing, test processes and tool improvements. This is an opportunity to work with software developers, technical support staff, and customers to create customized testing methodologies for our software products and improve the quality of our products. Some of the main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designs, develops, implements, and maintains the automation infrastructure that can be leveraged by other staff within an agile work environment.

  • Increase script coverage using the established automation infrastructures and framework.

  • Utilises Web test automation technologies.

  • Continuously evaluates and improves automation framework and tests as necessary.

  • Collaborates with the QA Team and other departments to achieve project goals.

  • Performs moderately complex functional, application, regression and performance tests.

  • Defines and adheres to quality initiatives.

  • Provide standard metrics and results from all testing efforts.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring?

  • Degree in computer science or related technical field

  • Relevant experience in QA or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Demonstrated testing skills and understanding of QA processes

  • Exposure to Selenium and Appium Testing Frameworks, for Web and Mobile Automation

  • Experience with virtualization architecture and controlled test environments

  • Coding experience in C# or similar programming language

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft toolset (Visual Studio, AZDO)

  • Familiar with relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and writing and optimizing SQL queries

  • Basic troubleshooting and debugging skills

  • Experience of working within a Global Organization would be an advantage

Primary location is Portland however the position may be eligible for remote work.

The successful candidate will report directly to the QA Manager.
