Job Description

THIS IS A CONTRACTOR ROLE

Responsibilities:
* Perform technical tests and experiments for process engineering, including the set up and operation of process equipment
* Prepare records, charts, and graphs of test results
* Operate metrology tools, (including particle counter, film thickness measurement, and others as needed), to qualify process equipment and optimize processes
* Adjust hardware/software parameters to correct issues or execute experiments
* Perform minor electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on equipment
* Perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment and facility equipment

Qualifications:
* Associates Degree and 2 years of related experience in semiconductor processing in thin film deposition, or etch, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
* Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining vacuum-based processing equipment
* Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Self-starting individual with strong technical and hands-on skills
* Associates degree or equivalent

* Willingness to work a compressed shift 4days x 10hr/day, including one weekend day.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
