Job purpose

The Project Admin (PA) will assist and support the Project Manager PM. Track daily paperwork, timecards, and other various forms using Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, and other programs.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to electricians in the field per project.
  • Project Management & multi-departmental clerical support.
  • Ensure that the timesheets are processed, in a timely and error free manner.
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation.
  • Assist with office supply ordering.
  • Assist with document Printing, Scanning, and Copying.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  • HS Degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Electrical Contracting environment.
  • Experience creating spreadsheets for job tracking/costing.
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction contract legal issues.
  • Ability to work independently and work well with others in a multi-functional environment.
  • Microsoft Suite software experience
  • Bluebeam software experience
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and schedule form.
  • Ability to coordinate a variety of routine projects and activities simultaneously.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.

Working conditions

Mostly office-based. Typical working hours for the PA may vary. Generally, Monday - Friday during normal business hours, but when deadlines approach they may be required to work much longer hours, including some weekend work.

Physical requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Project Coordinator to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The PA is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
