Do you enjoy an upbeat warehouse environment? Do you enjoy individual and team-based work? Schoolhouse is a privately held local company that designs and builds high quality lighting and clocks, and we are looking to add an easy going and willing to learn Material Handler to our team.

Our inclusive culture will welcome you as you learn and work amongst a team of experienced staff members. Once you have succeeded in learning the basics, you will begin accomplishing tasks on your own such as, basic computer entry, cycle counting, put away tasks, hand picking and material transport. Our warehouse does not utilize forklifts. The position involves accuracy and efficiency, to ensure that various products and/or materials navigate our century old warehouse in the most efficient way possible. This role is essential in getting our customers the high-quality products they expect.

This operations position does require standing for extended periods and traveling up and down stairs between floors several times a day. We are looking for someone who can work from 6:00am until 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, who is open to working overtime as needed, has a history of good attendance, is comfortable communicating and working with others in a diverse team, and can perform physical activities such as lifting up to 35 pounds, able to push up to 100 pounds regularly, bending, reaching and climbing ladder stairs to gather inventory in various locations of the warehouse. This position may be potentially exposed to heat, cold and potentially hazardous materials.

Starting wage is $16.75an hour with several reviews within the first year. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, company paid life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability and 401(k).
