Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY The primary responsibility is establishment of proper inventory stocking levels to provide expected services levels to support the business, the replenishment and accurate maintenance of the region's inventory, in compliance with Matheson's Preferred Vendor and Private Label programs. Reports to: Inventory Control Manager (ICM).

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook Email).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Degree in Business or Engineering, and at least 5 years proven experience in operational procurement environment. Knowledge of industrial, medical, and specialty gas cylinders, bulk, cryogenic gases and related technologies a plus. Influential leadership skills Strategic Management Planning and strategic sourcing Results oriented reporting to different levels of the organization. High reactivity and proactivity Communicative Ability to transfer needed information to internal and external customers in an efficient and clear manner. Customer needs mindset
