The Hamilton County Workforce Recovery Task Force was recently awarded a Duke Energy, Economic Development Relief grant to hold a one-day (24 hour), virtual hiring and educational opportunities fair in collaboration with the Hamilton County Economic Development Corporation and the Hamilton County Workforce Innovation Network
Per the grant requirements, this opportunity is only available to Hamilton County employers and training providers who are Duke Energy customers. This is a free event with no cost to job seekers, participating employers, or training providers.
This event will held on the Premiere Virtual job fair platform. It will begin Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 8:00 am and end Friday, July 10, 2020 at 8:00 am.
Candidates may visit booths and apply to open positions at any time during this event. Although employers and training providers may schedule their recruiters to interact with prospective candidates during the event as they see fit, based on best practice recommendations from Premiere Virtual, the following schedule for recruiter interaction is suggested:
10am-12 pm, 1-3 pm, and 5-7 pm

Premiere Virtual staff will be available to provide guidance on booth setup and any other event questions or concerns.
There will be an extensive, collaborative promotion campaign to ensure a strong turnout of prospective candidates from within Hamilton County and throughout surrounding counties.
