Description

The primary focus of a Business Account Support Representative (BASR) is to manage an assigned large account(s) as well as supporting the Sales Representatives and Service Managers, handle add-on customer quotes, and prospecting for new business. The work environment is fast paced, requiring excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously where accuracy and attention to detail/organization is critical. The BASR will have an opportunity to train towards Outside B2B Sales if desired.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage your assigned account(s) and respond to quote and customer service requests
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Work with the Government sales team to accurately quote assigned accounts
  • Follow up and make sure all issues and or questions were answered
  • Answer any inbound Sales call and assist customers with their needs when possible
  • Light outbound calling to assigned accounts
  • Manage orders with correct pricing and product availability
  • Attends new product training as needed
  • Articulate the value proposition of our products and services
  • An understanding of radio concepts and a moderate understanding of general wireless technology is a plus
  • Occasionally travel with other Sales Representatives on Sales calls
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Business to business sales experience is ideal
  • 2+ years of high-level account management, customer service, telemarketing, or phone support experience
  • Experience using Outlook, Excel, data base – NetSuite and UltiPro software knowledge is a plus
  • Experience selling product or service over the phone
  • Past experience in selling technical products is a plus
