Yoh is seeking an entry-level Associate Scientist, Chemistry to support our Pharmaceutical Client in San Diego, CA for a 6+ month contract engagement (potential to convert full-time). You will have the opportunity to join our fast moving drug development team. This role is an ideal fit for recent grads or individuals with 1-2 years of post-college experience. Bachelor's of Science degree is a must, preferably in Chemistry, Biochemistry disciplines. Please note this is an onsite, lab-based role.
Hours: 8am - 5pm with some need for flexibilityfor later evenings and possible weekend hours

Responsibilities
- Assist Sr. Scientists in developing solution engines
- Work cross collaboratively to develop new drug prototypes
- Comply with all laboratory safety guidelines including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain general cleanliness of the lab, including personal bench space and common use areas.
- All other tasks and duties assigned as perceived and agreed upon by senior management.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
- Strong comfortability in a wet lab setting
- Familiar with making and mixing chemical solution
- Capable of taking direction and following high regulated SOPs
- Strong interest in learning and working in drug discovery
