Our client is growing and they are currently looking to add a Part-time AccountingAssistant to their team! This newly created role will assist with accounting and general office support. They are looking for someone that is eager to learn and enjoys a variety of responsibilities. The company boasts a team-oriented culture and flexible schedule.
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounting Assistant will perform accounts payable entry.
Deposit checks and process receipts.
Cut checks to vendors.
Process and issue client invoices.
Process monthly account reconciliations, along with monthly report preparation.
Calculate monthly sales and use tax and file report with the State.
Assist account executives and the Controller with creating purchasing orders and jobs.
Perform general office support including receptionist duties, sorting mail, and participating in planning employee relations events.
The Accounting Assistant will perform other duties as assigned.
The Accounting Assistant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The Accounting Assistant will have 2+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
An Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
