Job Description

Primary Function:

Under the general direction of the Radiology Manager, performs diagnostic and therapeutic exams/procedures and associated patient care

Casual 4 Hours/Week Days

1. Education & Training: Graduate of a recognized School of Radiology Sciences. Mammography Technologists initially qualifying on or after April 28, 1999 must meet the Mammo-Specific requirements by having at least 40 hours of documented training in Mammography. Documented training in Digital Mammography.

2. Experience: 1+ years’ experience as a mammography technologist preferred. Must have 200 performed mammography exams in the past 24 months. Hologic Digital Breast Tomosynthesis preferred.

3. License, Certification & Registration: ARRT certification in radiography, ARRT advanced certification in Mammography, FDA/MQSA qualified to include meeting the MQSA CE requirements of at least 15 CEU’s in a 36 month period that are Mammography specific.

4. Other Requirements: Excellent communication and team oriented skills required.
